KUALA LUMPUR: Nasi Beriani or Nasi Berani? Hawkers showed their business acumen – and their sense of humour – at Padang Merbok where the Black 505 rally was held.

One stall selling herb-flavoured rice with chicken or beef normally called Nasi Beriani changed its name to Nasi Berani (brave rice) 505 and a serving with a drink cost RM5.

The hawker quipped: “Hari ini kena berani sikit. (Today, one has to be a little brave)”
