Sex video: PAS sec-gen Mustafa Ali leaves the issue to his lawyer

KUALA LUMPUR: PAS Secretary-General Datuk Mustafa Ali finally broke his silence about a sex video that allegedly implicated him.

“I’m not going to answer any questions relating to the issue,” he said in a statement released to ABN News via Dewan Muslimat PAS Pusat (DMPP). “I’ve handed the matter to my lawyer, Awi & Co.”

According to a spokesperson from DMPP, which is the women’s wing of PAS, none of the ladies in DMPP know who the woman in the sex video is.

She also revealed that there have been attempts to install CCTV systems in the homes of PAS candidates without their knowledge before the upcoming 13th General Election.

PAS official newsletter Harakah Daily reported that the sex video has appeared on a number of mostly Umno websites and blogs, all of which claim the footage was the work of PAS’s ally, PKR.

There are also allegations that the video could be the work of PAS members who dislike Mustafa.

PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa told The Malaysian Insider that the video could be fabricated, while also questioning its timing this close to nomination day on April 20 and polling on May 5.
